The Chinese New Year begins today, Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025. This year will be the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac representing wisdom, intuition, transformation, and mystery. People born in the Year of the Snake are considered intelligent, deep thinkers, and highly intuitive. They are often associated with elegance, charm, and a calm demeanour. In Bible prophecy, the snake can also be secretive and strategic and an accomplished liar, he is known as the father of the lie. 

Johnathan Cahn, the prophetic Messianic Rabbi quoted this week, saying, that in all his life he has never seen so many references to God, Jesus and End Time prophecy as he has in the first month of 2025, the internet is bursting with predictions and prophecy. So as we move into the year of the snake we can expect that interest to ramp up even higher, especially when the relevant world leaders come up against each other in rhetoric oral battles this year. Will President Xi allow President Trump to dominate him? I wouldn't think so.

The war between God and the snake goes all the way back to the beginning of the Bible and the fight is only now coming to an end 6,000 years later. What is kind of ironic is, that this year will be the year of the snake with all the political and geopolitical upheaval going on in the world.

AI & Social Control – China's social credit system, advanced AI, and digital surveillance could foreshadow the Antichrist’s control system, restricting freedoms based on compliance.

Spiritual Deception – China is also pushing state-controlled Christianity, rewriting the Bible to fit Communist ideology, which fits the prophecy of a great falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
