Record-breaking X-Class Flares—WWIII Fears—Dying Planet—Disease—A plethora of comets—Are all Signs And Wonders—2024 was in all sense and purpose a shit show . . . But I fear 2025 will be a defining year like never before!

Signs and Wonders!

2024 ends with a rare Black Moon—an extra New Moon on December 30.

The term, "Signs And Wonders" is a phrase I have used so regularly recently, however, the phrase would best describe the first five months of 2024. It is a term I don't use flippantly, and yet, there have been so many events this year showing just that—Signs And Wonders!

As our World continues to explode into a state of heightened paranoia, Signs And Wonders are the two most accurate adjectives I can use to describe the incredible events happening globally this year! It's probably no wonder the Chinese have named 2024 as the year of the dragon.

We are just two days away from 2025—how time is flying! Who knows what next year will bring? One thing's for sure: 2024 was an incredible year, environmentally, geologically, and meteorologically. 2024 will be the hottest year ever, that means, the last ten years have been the ten hottest years on record, which is kind of scary. This year Pakistan reached a temperature above 50 degrees C (+122 degrees F) Myanmar reached temperatures just under that in Pakistan. In Mexico, howler monkeys dropped dead from the trees when the temperatures crept above 50 degrees C and many thousands of people across the Northern Hemisphere died from record temperatures this summer.

Between January and September, more than 400,000 wildfires were recorded across South America, shrouding the continent in choking smoke. Europe, the US and Canada suffered from the now-familiar wildfires which are arriving earlier every season and burning more ferociously destroying everything in their paths.

Here in Western Europe, we have had our wettest year ever. In April the United Arab Emirates had two years of rainfall in one day. Kenya ended a drought when the worst floods ever recorded hit the African nation with back-to-back disasters. Four million people needed aid after nearly 2,000 people died during flooding in Central and West Africa. Afghanistan, Russia, Brazil, China, Germany, France, Nepal, Uganda, Italy, India, Spain, Somalia, Pakistan, Burundi and the United States and UK were among other countries that witnessed flooding in 2024.

According to NOAA, the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season had above-normal activity in terms of the number of named storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes. In 2024, 18 named storms formed in the Atlantic basin, of which 11 became hurricanes and 5 strengthened into major hurricanes (category 3 or higher on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale). These numbers are greater than the long-term (1991-2020) averages of 14 named storms, 7 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes. In terms of Accumulated Cyclone Energy (ACE), which measures the strength and duration of tropical storms and hurricanes, activity in the basin in 2024 was about 34 per cent above the long-term (1991-2020) average. The Eastern Pacific was slightly below normal.

According to the Daily Mail: The Philippines endured six major storms in November alone, just two months after suffering Typhoon Yagi as it tore through Southeast Asia. The typhoon, described by Vietnamese meteorological officials as 'one of the most powerful typhoons in the region over the past decade', made its way to the Southeast Asian country after it left three people dead and nearly a hundred others injured in the Chinese province of Hainan in September. Earlier, the government issued several alerts, and those vulnerable to floods or landslides were evacuated. Four airports were shuttered, including in the capital Hanoi, and the city of Haiphong. In December, scientists said global warming had helped intensify Cyclone Chido to a Category 4 storm as it collided head-on with Mayotte, devastating France's poorest overseas territory. Chido's dizzying winds tore through the archipelago and left buildings heavily damaged, vehicles destroyed, and the main airport and hospital completely wrecked. A Swiss financial firm calculated the cost of this year's international weather disasters at almost $250 Billion.

2024—The paradox!

Data, USGS.

With all the weather phenomena in 2024 increasing you would expect major quakes, (mag 6 or higher) to be increasing too, however, they are going down! With two days left, 2024 will prove to be the lowest amount of major quakes (magnitude 6 or higher) recorded in modern times—

Earthquakes—2024

As I write this post USGS have recorded only 100 major quakes (mag 6 or higher). With just two days to go before 2025—this year's total will be by far the lowest count since the 1980s.

Spaceweather

However, X-Class Flares with two days to go of 2024 have by far recorded their highest number ever! Another record-breaker!

The clock was chiming 12:am in Eastern Europe on January the 1st of last year when the biggest firework imaginable was exploding on our Sun. A massive X5-Class flare, the strongest solar flare of Solar Cycle 25 at the time. Radiation from the blast caused a deep shortwave radio blackout over the Pacific Ocean. Luckily the CME was not Earth-directed.

Just a few hours after the flare, the biggest earthquake of the year struck Northern Japan. A magnitude of 7.5 rocked the Honshu area close to the stricken Fukushima Nuclear Plant. The powerful quake was followed by large aftershocks, one of them a magnitude 6.2. 2024 was only a few hours old, and already, we were witnessing 'signs and wonders!'

It's hard to imagine, but on February 10, 2024, during the 'Chinese' New Year's Eve celebrations, an X3.4-Class Flare was also ejected from our Sun. NASA claimed the eruption was a massive flare, probably much bigger than the X3.4 registered because the blast was recorded partly behind the Sun's horizon

How often do we witness X-class flares? Well, the one on the eve of the Chinese New Year celebrations on Feb 09 at 22:15 GMT was only the third since September 2017—the third in almost '7 years'. Curiously, the one on New Year's Eve (Western) on Dec 31 at 22:05 GMT was only the second. Since then this year a further 53 have been recorded, by far the most ever recorded in a year beating the year 2001 the previous record holder by an incredible 20 X-Class flares.

More Signs And Wonders!

In 2024, there were several comets visible from Earth, but the exact number I can't verify just how many. Here are some of the most notable comets that were visible or expected to be visible in 2024:

1. Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan) This comet made a close approach to Earth in 2024 and was predicted to be visible in the Northern Hemisphere. It became one of the most significant comets of the year due to its potential brightness.
2. Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) Although discovered in 2023, this comet passed closest to Earth in late 2023 and was still visible early in 2024. It garnered attention for its impressive tail.
3. Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) Although this comet's closest approach was in early 2023, it was still visible into the beginning of 2024, particularly for observers in the Northern Hemisphere, before fading.
4. Comet 2P/Encke A periodic comet that orbits the Sun roughly every 3.3 years, Comet Encke passed close to Earth in 2024 and could be visible in the sky.
5. Comet C/2022 T2 (Palomar) This comet was expected was visible in 2024 and was brightening, making it another target for amateur astronomers.
6. Comet C/2024 F1 (Bradfield) Discovered in early 2024, this comet was visible to the naked eye, though its brightness was uncertain.
Other Comets
Many other comets, especially periodic comets, would have been visible through telescopes, but not all of them were bright enough to be seen without aid. While several comets were visible in 2024, the number of bright or naked-eye visible comets was relatively small, with a few major ones like Comet Tsuchinshan and Comet Nishimura drawing the most attention.

Can we survive 2025? Another World War could be on the cards. How long can we realistically CARRY ON? Nature is disappearing: The average size of wildlife populations has fallen by a staggering 73% The Living Planet Report 2024 highlights the average change in observed population sizes of 5,495 vertebrate species. It shows a decline of 73% between 1970 and 2020. WWF Report here Can you imagine the worldwide panic if 73% of humans had disappeared since 1970?

just a couple of weeks after the WWF report, another study claimed the world's trees were sliding towards extinction. Scientists assessing dangers posed to the world’s trees revealed that more than a "third of tree species are facing extinction" (a third of all species!!!) in the wild. The number of threatened trees now outweighs all threatened birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians put together. This is according to the latest update to the official extinction red list. The news was released in Cali, Colombia, where world leaders met at the UN biodiversity summit, COP 16, to assess progress on a landmark rescue plan for nature. Trees are vital for life, (DUH!) helping to clean the air and soak up carbon emissions, as well as providing homes for thousands of birds, insects and mammals (and human beings).

Add to this the threat of disease, for instance, bird flu is now jumping from animals to humans, and swine flu is another potential killer waiting in the wings, this nasty disease killed millions of pigs in 2019. We are living on the edge. Millions of Westerners say they can’t afford enough food for themselves or their children and the number is growing. In major cities across the West, the rich and famous are leaving in droves, allowing the streets to be taken over by homeless people, junkies and violent criminals.

Dark forces are at work and infecting people with hate on an unprecedented level. Violence and hatred are spewing forth from people who have been dumbed down for years, a silent pent-up anger has been boiling up inside people and Covid-19 has brought that anger to the surface. Western society is broken and is disintegrating at breakneck speed.

Why is this happening? Many lower-class Westerners are living in the 21st century with suppressed immune systems brought on by their own desires. Obesity, diets rich in fat and sugar, processed foods, smoking, alcohol and drug consumption, medications, pollution, exposure to pesticides or industrial chemicals and radiofrequency radiation, sex and violence are pushed into their faces at every turn, they are being consumed by modern life. Their cells, proteins, and DNA are being damaged by a Western lifestyle, which is contributing to ageing and also plays a role in the development of a range of health conditions, including diabetes, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. In other words, they are killing themselves. If you're living a healthy life, the climate will get you, or the next World War. We are living in a shit show.

Stay safe folks and get close to God, it's His time now.

No one seems to have noticed the similarities between a huge orchard and the human population. Looks great at first but Biodiversity is nonexistent, diseases become a problem, parasites become common, and the orchard cannot support itself without constant outside (farmer) support. Weather events become a threat and money becomes the obsession. As with an ignored orchard most will die with a few trees remaining while the natural environment slowly returns.

Thank you for not making people sign in. Firstly, the countries with the best records on their population suffered the most under the Nazis in ww2. Secondly many with interesting views like to remain anonymous, thus one only gets the views of the conformist. Thank you again.
