For the second day running a major quake, (mag 6 or higher) was recorded near and during a massive cyclone. Yesterday's 6.3 quake was recorded close to the Arctic Circle full story and today's near the Antarctic Circle, a mag 6.1 south of South Africa, which coincidently was the 144th major quake of 2023 as the end of the year draws to a close.
The phenomenon of quakes, especially major quakes happening during cyclones and anticyclones, areas of low or very high pressure is something worth looking into and could be used as a tool for earthquake production, in my humble opinion. I did start researching this phenomenon earlier this year but I became sick and I had to stop, however, my earlier research was conclusive I believe. loose tectonic plates are influenced by low or high-pressure systems—You can check some of the research in the link below.
