An incredible high-pressure system stretching a mind-blowing two-thirds around the planet, encompassing, Canada, the Arctic, Greenland, Siberia, East and Western Europe to the Atlantic has been captured on the Earthwindmap while locating the latest major quake—A mag 6.3 in Indonesia, itself occurring during a torrential rain-storm.
The high-pressure system seen above shown by the red line is a phenomenon I have never seen, it's enormous!
Meanwhile, the major quake, (mag 6 or higher) was the 147th of this year and followed another familiar pattern of 2023, namely—Of the 147 major quakes recorded this year, an incredible 102 of them have been on the Western side of the Pacific Ring Of Fire, which, if my maths are half decent, makes that almost two-thirds of all major quakes this year!
