Here's another! Mag 7.2 - 12 km NE of Saint-Louis du Sud, Haiti is the 7th major quake in the last 24 hours: Mag 8.1 the second biggest of the year, followed by a mag 7.5 6.3 and 2 6.1s hit the Sandwich Isles, a mag 7.2 rocks Haiti and a mag 6.9 rattles Alaska

The world is shaking! A magnitude 7.2 - 12 km NE of Saint-Louis du Sud, Haiti is the 7th major quake to rock the planet in the last 24 hours

Two massive quakes have rocked the South Sandwich Islands, just seconds apart, off the east coast of Argentina yesterday. According to the USGS, a mag 8.1, the second biggest quake of the year followed a mag 7.5 quake just a few seconds earlier, 3 major quakes, mag 6 or higher hit the area earlier. The area continues to be rocked by after shocks. Earlier today a powerful mag 6.9 struck Alaska

Today's major quake, (mag 6 or higher,) bring the August total to 9 and the year total to 99.
