92 major quakes so far in 2021, credit USGS
A very strong, Mag 7.1 rocked the Philippines last night. The powerful magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck off the Philippines on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, as initial warnings about the risk of tsunamis were lifted and with no immediate reports of casualties or major damage.
Last night's mag 7.1 was the 2nd major quake, mag 6 or higher of August and the 92nd of 2021 so far!
