As many as 17 million minks are to be culled in Denmark after a mutated version of the coronavirus that can spread to humans was detected on mink farms.
Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the mutated virus posed a "risk to the effectiveness" of a future Covid-19 vaccine.
Denmark's prime minister said Wednesday that the government wants to cull all minks in farms to minimise the risk of the weasel-like mammals' re-transmitting COVID-19 to humans. Mette Frederiksen said a report from a government agency that maps the coronavirus in Denmark has shown a mutation in the virus found in 12 people in the northern part of the country who were infected by minks.
Health Minister Magnus Heunicke said half the 783 human COVID-19 cases in northern Denmark "are related" to minks. "It is very, very serious," Frederiksen said. "Thus, the mutated virus in minks can have devastating consequences worldwide."
Denmark is one of the world's main mink fur exporters, producing an estimated 17 million furs a year. Kopenhagen Fur, a cooperative of 1,500 Danish breeders, accounts for 40 per cent of the global mink production. Most of its exports go to China and Hong Kong.
According to government estimates, culling the country's 17 million minks could cost up to five billion kroner ($785m). National police head Thorkild Fogde said, "It should happen as soon as possible." Denmark's minister for food, Mogens Jensen, said 207 farms were now infected, up from 41 last month, and the disease has spread to all of the western peninsulae of Jutland.
Last month, Denmark started culling millions of minks in the north of the country. The government has promised to compensate farmers. The country has registered 50,530 confirmed COVID-19 infections and 729 deaths.

How stupid modern man is.
Sars-cov-2 hasn't been isolated and not properly described. It hasn't been shown to cause covid symptoms. The false 'gold-standard' test for infection is therefore flawed to say it mildly (if only a fraction of nucleotides has been isolated from a mixture of tissues and the vast majority of the assumed viral genome has been computer generated and accepted by consensus, what does one expect?).
The use of PCR was never meant to be for diagnosis but is now the measure of 'infection'. Positive cases have according to official narrative turned into sick people. Even the NYT had to point out that the number of cycles/amplifications determines if the test shows positive or not. Even God Fauci recently admitted on camera that any positive test result achieved after more than 35 cycles is a false positive. He also said that the number of cycles isn't standardized, even within the US.
So, you tell me, they used the PCR test to determine that there is yet another 'mutant' 'covid virus' in minks now? I say, we humans are all stupid if we believe yet another lie of the people who so successfully have lied to us for so long. E.g., the governor of CA who has set some of the strictest covid regulations on 'his' people, demands school children to wear masks (which the CDC itself admits, hidden on its website that they are useless for protecting self or others and may even be counter health for the wearer), while he sends his kids to a fancy private school where the kids don't have to wear masks.
And the covid vaccines they develop so hastily? We don't hear enough about the plenty of often serious side effects in the trial participants. And we don't hear much about the fact that these vaccines are deemed a success when they show fewer 'covid' symptoms in the vaccinated group than the group receiving other vaccines (often one with the worst side effects). These 'covid' vaccines are deemed to be successful when they reduce symptoms of 'covid'. They don't even pretend to prevent infection with 'the covid virus'. OF COURSE! Now they will blame mutants of 'the virus' which makes the new covid vaccines USELESS (they'll call it 'less effective'). Why don't we kill everything to be sure there won't be any mutations of a virus that hasn't even been isolated or proven to cause 'the' disease?
I suggest everybody read up on the modern, more realistic concept of virology, and look for Dr Stefan Lanka for example. He researched viruses, isolated the first from plants, and came to the conclusion that there are no pathogenic viruses. He also won a (German) court ruling that agreed with him that there was no scientific publication proving the existence of the measles virus. Not one! Not that this would be on the MSM....
Today, there are more doctors believing that there are no pathogenic viruses. And today, the same believes are abundantly expressed by Dr Cowan, Dr Bush and others. No that their voices would make it through to the MSM.
But now the minks have to pay for humanity's idiocy.
