A powerful magnitude 6.6 rocks Fiji Islands: 88th major quake of 2018 and 78 of them have occurred along The Pacific Ring Of Fire

USGS
It's the twelfth major quake of September, a very deep, 551.2 km, magnitude 6.6 rocks Fiji Islands, however, no tsunami warning has been issued, presumably because the quake is so deep (shallow quakes are more destructive than deep quakes).
It is the 88th major quake of 2018 and 78 of them have occurred along The Pacific Ring Of Fire
