It's the kind of temperature humans shouldn't have to endure: Parts of India expected to hit 50 C (122F) as heatwave continues

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMT), are predicting further intensification of heat wave conditions in Odisha issued orange alert on Tuesday.
The orange alert a warning for severe heat wave is issued across Odisha for next few days.
As the temperature rose above 45 degrees Celsius, (113F) in five towns and 40 degrees in other 16 places on Monday, the office issued the alert.
It is expected that the temperature may reach the 50 degree Celsius (122F) mark today; however, thundershowers may be experienced by some parts of the state.
Last summer these sort of temperatures killed thousands in India and Pakistan.
