Another major quake disqualified: Mag 6. - 1km SSW of Talaga, Philippines is once again reduced to a 5.9 by USGS


AT LEAST one person was injured while 500 homes were damaged after a magnitude 6 earthquake hit Wao, Lanao del Sur on April 12.
Francis Garcia, head of Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Office said over a radio interview that they have so far monitored one injured person identified as 40-year-old Jurie Sagun, while an estimated 500 households were damaged in West Kili-Kili, Wao, Lanao del Sur. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has recorded a series of mild aftershocks after a magnitude 6 earthquake hit Wao, Lanao del Sur and almost all parts of Northern Mindanao at about 5:21 am, Wednesday, April 12.
