A mag 6.3 South of Fiji is the first major quake of 2017 as another massive coronal hole opens up stretching more than halfway across the Sun


M6.3 - South of the Fiji Islands is the first major quake of 2017 and with a large coronal hole stretching more than halfway across the face of the sun more major quakes will be on the cards in the coming days.

At the end of last month a massive coronal hole was responsible for nine major quakes in the space of a week.
