A massive 8.0
quake strikes off Solomon Islands’ coast just a couple of hours after a mag 6.5
struck off the North Californian coast and is the third major quake in just two
days.
The BBC is
reporting Warning of "widespread, hazardous" tsunami waves after huge
earthquake off Solomon Islands
The major
quakes could be due to the fact a massive coronal hole on our Sun has turned to
face the Earth. Coronal holes are considered by many experts to be the primary
factor for causing large earthquakes so keeps your eyes open and your ears
peeled.
The quake
was measured at 8.0 at a depth of nearly 50 km and a tsunami warning has been
issued.
It is the 6th
