For the second day running a major quake, (mag 6 or higher) was recorded near and during a massive cyclone. The phenomenon of quakes, especially major quakes recorded during cyclones and anticyclones, areas of low or very high pressure is something worth looking into!

For the second day running a major quake, (mag 6 or higher) was recorded near and during a massive cyclone. Yesterday's 6.3 quake was recorded close to the Arctic Circle full story and today's near the Antarctic Circle, a mag 6.1 south of South Africa, which coincidently was the 144th major quake of 2023 as the end of the year draws to a close.

The phenomenon of quakes, especially major quakes happening during cyclones and anticyclones, areas of low or very high pressure is something worth looking into and could be used as a tool for earthquake production, in my humble opinion. I did start researching this phenomenon earlier this year but I became sick and I had to stop, however, my earlier research was conclusive I believe. loose tectonic plates are influenced by low or high-pressure systems—You can check some of the research in the link below.
