Bill Laughing-Bear—Another letter from Alaska: God's Time-clock, Past, Present and Future? I have never been a gambling man, but if I were one thinking to bet against the Hebrew timeline of past, present, and future history, it would be summed up as insanity.

God's Time-clock, Past, Present and Future?

Part 1

Dear Gary and Readers of The Big Wobble,

Several years ago, I was introduced to two authors, one named Jonathan Cahn and the other, C.J. Lovik. Since then, their books have been a major part of my seeking truth. Thus, between them, my faith has deepened as I now have a broader understanding of the Torah (the compilation of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible), the Haftarah (a short selection from the Prophets read on every Sabbath in a Jewish synagogue following a reading from the Torah) and the B’rit Hadashah (a collection of writings - 27 in total - all authored by devout Jews, with the possible exception of Luke/Acts). I seek its truth in the weekly Parashah (a lesson from the Torah, or Law, from which at least one section is read in the Jewish synagogue on every Sabbath and festival).

Simply put, they are the Old and New Testaments that are read for Shabbat each week. So, I have gained a deeper understanding of my faith by learning the world's only 3D language, Hebrew, and understanding the holy holidays, Shabbats, and from my perspective, the timeline of history.

I have never been a gambling man, but if I were one thinking to bet against the Hebrew timeline of past, present, and future history, it could be summed up as insanity. The mathematical probability of what I will be laying out before you is impossible. There has to be the Highest Power in charge that has set a time clock that nothing can stop. Hence, I will show a few of the impossibilities.

(Disclaimer: No man knows exact dates, however, based on the history that we do know, the following historical events are far from being coincidental. There is definitely a pattern that needs to be seriously considered and watched).

Let's start this as #1:

1867 - Year of Jubilee: "And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family" (Leviticus 25:10). Read Leviticus 25:1-22 for an expanded read.

“The Foreigner:”

Mark Twain, from America (San Francisco), who worked as a journalist, would come across the world on a steamship called the “Quaker City.” Around the world, all Jews in their synagogues every Sabbath day read what is called a Parashah. It is an appointed read from the Torah, the first 5 books of the Old Testament written by Moses, and the Haftarah, the prophets. There is a total of 54 of these readings that are read in order, and then you start all over with number one. That week Parashah 51 was read which held the words of Deuteronomy 29:22-23, "so that the coming generation of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, would say when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which the LORD has laid on it: The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in His anger and His wrath."

This read speaks of the “foreigner” from a far land. Mark Twain arrived there on the 23rd of September and came back to Jerusalem after looking over the country until the 27th. His last complete day in Jerusalem was the 28th of September, on the Sabbath, where even there in the synagogues Haftarah was being cited. What is the mathematical probability of that happening?

The book he wrote about this adventure was his first book and it outsold all other books he wrote. It was titled “The Innocents Abroad,” which was a fulfilment of Moses’s ancient prophecy. The charter pole vaulted him into international fame. In his final years, it would connect him with Theodor Herzl who would become the founder of Political Zionism. This befriending of the two would happen in Paris in 1894. Herzl would become known as the father of the Jewish state. Twain and Herzl came together in the same city, the same year, the very place where Zionism was born. What's the chance of that happening?

Now for #2:

1867 - Year of Jubilee: Charles Warren, a British officer and member of the Royal Engineers, completed a survey of Jerusalem. He was in the ancient city at the same time, same month, the same week, same days, and would even be housed in the same quarters as Mark Twain but.... neither knew it. After his survey, he went back to England and wrote a book titled “Land of Promise,” the very first known detailed plan and vision for the establishment of a Jewish State in the land of Israel. This book was written twenty years before a vision very similar was written by a Jew.

Let's look at another, #3:

1867 - Year of Jubilee, the Ottoman Empire had faced a financial disaster after the Crimean War and had to start selling off their land to raise money to pay back a huge war dept. They owned the Promise Land known once again, today, as Israel. They started this on the 10th of June, 1867, two days after Mark Twain launched out on his cruise on the steamship “Quaker City.”

One more fact#4:

1867 - Year of Jubilee, the Jubilee restores the land to its original owners. In 1517, Selim 1, Selim the Grim, an Ottoman prince defeated all family members and became the Sultan who ruled the throne of the Ottoman Empire. He then defeated the “Mamluks’ at the Battle of Raydaniya, and the land of Israel was now transferred to him. This happened during the Jubilee year in 1517. In the Bible, the number “7” is

said to signify the ending of an interval of time, an age, a completion, an ending, an age. When Selim the Grim gained Israel, a clock was set in motion that the Jews would be gathered back to their land. Since a Jubilee is fifty years in length and the space between 1517 and 1867 is 350 years, it fell on the 7th Jubilee, the year "the foreigner" from a far land would arrive there. The process that set into motion this blessing, had started.

Let's look even deeper, #5:

1917 - Year of Jubilee, “the Balfour Declaration” was written and ratified in England that the land of Israel would be returned, by proclamation, to the Jewish people. Only one other in the history of the world had supported their return and that was the Persian Emperor Cyrus who wrote such a decree. In both cases, their declarations would lead to massive changes in the years after their decrees.

And around the world all Jews in their Synagogues, on the last Sabbath before that week that would change Jewish history, the week the British War Cabinet approved the Balfour Declaration, the reading from the Parashah was Parashah 3. lekh l’kha. This reading has Genesis 12:1 which states, "Now the LORD had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, from your family and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you.'"

Diving even deeper with #6:

1917 - Year of Jubilee, British General Edmund Allenby would replace General Archibald Murray of the British-led forces in Egypt in the summer of that year. In the fall of that year, he and his troops overran and took the city of Beersheba. This place was known for its seven wells and had been the first place that Father Abraham had made a covenant for this southern tip of the Promised Land with the Philistine King, Abimelech. The place was referred to as the "Well of the Oath." It would be the first major victory for Britain in the Middle East. Just as it was Abraham's first chunk of control in this land, so it was for General Edmund Allenby. And the Sabbath reading read worldwide by the Jews that week was Parashah 4., Vayera, which has in it, Genesis 21:31: "Therefore he called that place Beersheba because the two of them swore an oath there." Yep, another just by the chance event? Not!!!

And more with #7:

1917 - Year of JubileeBritish General Edmund Allenby would use British Air Corps for reconnaissance and to support the ground troops. On December 8th, the No. 14 Squadron took to the air and their biblical template for the day just so happened to be perfect for that day. It was out of "The Book of Common Prayer" that many of his troops carried and daily read. It was Isaiah 31:5: "Like birds flying about, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; passing over, He will preserve it."

On the 9th, his troops would read Isaiah 33:20: "Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home, a tabernacle that will not be taken down; not one of its stakes will ever be removed, nor will any of its cords be broken."

On the 10th when his troops had entered Jerusalem with a victory, the reading was Isaiah 40:1-2: "Comfort, yes, comfort My people!" says your God. 'Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins.'"

Rather odd that the book was written for the Anglican church in the sixteenth century and contained the appointed scriptures that were read those days which were an exact match of what happened.

And to make things even odder, as the Ottoman soldiers started to flee Jerusalem the night of the 8th of December, this just so happened to be the start of the Feast of Hanukah. In Jerusalem, the evening before starts the day so the 9th was the beginning of Hanukah. And there just happens to be a special read that is read worldwide on the first Sabbath of Hanukah out of the Haftarah. Zechariah 2:14-4:7 (expanded read) is read, and Zechariah 2:12 states "And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem."

Are you willing to place a bet yet? #8:

1947 - this next Year of Jubilee is a fifty-year cycle but in a different realm. It is one that is what I would call a Political Jubilee and of the domain of nation-states. Theodor Herzl in Basel, Switzerland, 1894 founded the “first Zionist Congress.” Just a few days after the Congress ended, he wrote in his personal journal what I would call a prophecy. He stated, “At Basel, I founded the Jewish State. If I said this out loud today, I would be answered by universal laughter. Perhaps in five years, certainly in fifty, everyone will know it.” He wrote this on August 31, 1897, when the Congress concluded.

On August 31, 1947, exactly fifty years to the day, the Partition Plan was officially received and recorded by the United Nations General Assembly. This was the go-ahead to make a Jewish nation in the land of Israel for the first time in 2,000 years. Just over five months later on May 14, 1948, Israel became a nation once again. Theodor Herzl spent the last seven years of his life working on this prophecy but died young, while it was all still a dream, at an age of 44.

And on August 31, 1947, a Saturday which is a Sabbath, around the world all Jews in their synagogues read their Parashah 8., Vayishlach, Genesis 32:9: "Then Jacob said, "O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said to me, 'Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you:'" When the vote was given the name they chose for this new nation was Israel, which was part of the reading of the Vayishlach, Genesis 32:28: "And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."

Yep, all by mere chance? #9:

1967 - Year of Jubilee, Egyptian troops are sent into the Sinai Peninsula toward Israel’s borders by Gamal Abdel Nasser, President of Egypt. Then on the 22 of May, he closes the Straits of Tiran cutting off Israel’s only shipping route through the Red Sea. This is an Act of War.

Egypt makes a pact with Jordan and has its troops drawn into the conflict. Israel is outnumbered on every count, Egypt has twice as many tanks and planes, and four times as many anti-aircraft guns. By June, well over two hundred thousand enemy troops are on Israel's borders. Israel has an emergency meeting in which it is decided that all men up to age 50 who were not on active duty or reserves would be conscripted. So many of these men were born in the year of the last Jubilee, 1917.

On June 5th, the Israeli Air Force launches surprise lightning strikes and destroys the Air Force of the surrounding Arab nations. Jordan decides to join the war and they are the ones who hold the holy city, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. Through a turn of events, Israel is able to retake their ancient holy city and for the first time in over two thousand years, they can pray at the Temple Mount. They have their capital back. Yes... in the Year of the Jubilee.

Wow, here is #10:

The Jubilee is about restoring what was lost and returning to the place you left! Israel had lost their Temple. The first day the Jews became exiles from Jerusalem was the 6th of August, 70 AD. The last place they held when they were finally totally defeated on 31 March, AD 74 was Masada. That is a total of 1,333 days.

Israel's military returned to Masada on 13 October 1963. And exactly 1,333 days later they retake Jerusalem and are able to go to the Temple Mount on the 7th of June, 1967. Yep, just sheer luck... the 1,333 days thing, not!!!

Let's ramp this up just a little with insignificant point #11:

The next 50-year Jubilee lands in 2017. An odd thing, is all countries have their national capitals recognized... but one. Jerusalem would be the only national capital the whole world refused to recognize.

In the middle of the 1990s, the U.S. Congress passed a law that would call for America to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Never has a U.S. President signed it into law so they just had to keep renewing this document every six months. But in 2017, a Jubilee Year, a new president, Donald Trump, did so the month that marked that fifty-year event from the last Jubilee event of the retaking of Jerusalem. It was not only that fifty-year mark, but it was on the same month, same week, and on the exact day from the start of the Six-Day War and the retaking of the Temple Mount. I have goosebumps!

It gets wilder, let's look at point #12:

On 6 December 2017, President Donald Trump announced to the world that it was time to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Our embassy would be moved there. His declaration went forth in December at the one-hundred-year mark. It was a double Jubilee anniversary week of Jerusalem’s liberation by General Allenby from the Ottoman Empire, and the 1917 Year of Jubilee, “The Balfour Declaration” that was written and ratified in England that the land of Israel would be returned. And in June of 1967, Israel retakes their capital in the Six-Day War.

Once again, I quote Aldous Huxley: “Facts don’t cease to exist just because they are ignored."

That’s it from Alaska for now.

  1. Wonderful job Bill—It's ironic but at the start of the new Jubilee year, the 26 of Sept 2022, Liz Truss, the new British Prime Minister has gone into negotiations with the Israeli administration to move the British Embassy back to Jerusalem!

  4. Yes, the old creation does continue to follow patterns. The new creation does not. The object of the gospel is to move from the old into the new. As the old is passing away we can still see the echoes of the old patterns, but the new creation is not bound by them. That is why elaborate prophecy schemes always fail. The very obsession with them indicates a lack of submission to the lordship of Christ.

  5. No, not true at all, Christ Himself told us all to keep looking for the signs!

  6. OK, this is my last try. When Jesus says "“Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with it."
Do you go to your neighboring city and look for a colt tied there? No, because Jesus is not talking to you. Same thing with the signs preceding the destruction of Jerusalem. Jesus is talking privately to his disciples and he tells them they will see these things. He is not talking to you. The disciples saw those things. They already happened and they will not happen again. There is a clear change of subject when talking about heaven and earth passing away: "but of that day and hour no one knows."
"but" means on the contrary, different from the prior subject. There will be clear signs for the apostles to recognize the imminent destruction of Jerusalem but there will be NO SIGN of the end.

  7. Respectfully - kaballah guru unbiblical - I don't agree with Phineas regarding creation and pattens, what exactly does that mean?? and prophecy the Revelation of Jesus is all future so searching those things out/obsession?? not such a bad thing. Christ is Lord. Submitting to His Lordship or not does not negate this, nor does looking into what He has REVEALED to us.
