Still rumbling! Another major quake rocks the southeast of the Loyalty Islands, a mag 6 is the 47th aftershock since the massive mag 7.7 along with three mag 6+ foreshocks rocked the area yesterday afternoon.

Another major quake, mag 6 or higher rocks the southeast of the Loyalty Islands, a mag 6 is the 47th aftershock since the massive mag 7.7 along with three mag 6+ foreshocks rocked the area yesterday afternoon. A few of the aftershocks have been mag 6+ 'ers but most have been reduced by USGS.

So far 11 major quakes, mag 6 or higher have been recorded around the globe in February bringing the total for 2021 to an impressive 23.
