The quake is the 11th major quake, mag 6 or higher to hit our planet in the first 3 weeks of 2021 and the 10th to be recorded around The Pacific Ring Of Fire.

A tsunami has not been issued after the earthquake measured at magnitude 7.0 was detected at sea near the Philippines on Thursday, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said. The quake occurred at a depth of 98.5 km, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
