- Impossible? It's a huge anomaly, major quakes have been on the increase by a whopping 400% since the 1900's, the first quarter figure of 25 mag 6 + quakes this year takes us all the way back to the the first half of last century when just 12 major quakes were reported in the first four months of 1949...
- There has never been a drop like this at anytime during the last 117 years!
- If this trend continues throughout this year then 2017 would end the year on a total of around 72 major quakes, (based on the first four month average total of 6 per month)
- A total of 72 major would be easily the lowest total for one year since the first half of last century when just 41 were recorded in one year according to data from USGS..
It can’t be possible, it’s reminiscent of a
stock market crash, it’s unheard of in more than a hundred years, it’s a huge
anomaly and it shouldn’t be happening but it is!
It will come as a major shock to some
people but incredibly major quakes in in the first quarter of this year, 2017
is the lowest amount since the first half of last century with just 25 major
quakes recorded since January 1st 2017.
Incredibly we have to go all the way back
to 1949 when just 12 were reported in the first four months of that year!

To put this figure into perspective 73 major quakes were recorded in just one month in March 2011
It is a huge anomaly, I can’t even begin to explain it but I will be keeping an eye on the rest of the year, so please stay in tune!
