A mag 6.4 - 128km SE of Lorengau, Papua New Guinea is the 5th major quake of this month, which has been a very quiet month for major quakes untill this last hour, which has produced 2!
Todays quake was the 77th of 2016, which is an average amount of major quakes for the time of the year in this century.
