We don't have quakes in the UK!
The RSOE alert map is showing two fairly large quakes today east of Scotland nearly 5,000 km from the nearest fault line and the quakes are quite large, a mag 5.4 and a mag 4.8.
In my years reporting quakes I have never seen one anywhere near here?
I went to USGS of course to check them out and they are reporting only the mag 4.8, no mention of the big one...
