A magnitude 6.3 - Philippines is the 10th major quake of Sept: Expect more major quakes in the coming days


No tsunami warning was issued for this quake
Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses.
There is a low likelihood of casualties and damage.
Overall, the population in this region resides in structures that are a mix of vulnerable and earthquake resistant construction.

A magnitude 6.3 - 35km SE of Tamisan, Philippines is the 10th major quake of September and the fourth of this week.
Last night’s quake was the 102nd major quake of 2016.

We can expect more major quakes in the coming week as a large coronal hole on the sun turns to face the earth, coronal holes are thought by many experts to influence seismic activity here on earth, see below.
